Can anyone disprove 607 BCE date using only the NWT and WT literature?
by Bart Belteshassur ini haven't come across any arguement that does not involve secular history and external references.
in fact the wt can not get to 607 bce without using external sources as in knowing that they need to get back from 1914 ce to 607 bce, and botching an argument using an external date as reference to create their start point at 537 bce.. i realize that to get the final date we must provide a fixed figure from somewhere which can only be a historical source, but the objective would be to disprove the wt flim flam.
once that is achieve we can use which ever fixed historical point they wish to chose.

What is your view on the true meaning of the feeding of the 5000 and 4000?
by Bart Belteshassur ini have always been somewhat amazed that the jw and general christian view on both these events only focus on the supernaturel abilities of chirst to provide to the hungry mutitudes.
this is then used as evidence that he will and is feeding and providing for all on earth and thus is an indication of his loving and giving nature.. as a simple and dismissive explaination of the factual material contained in both events and the complete disregard of the fact that the gospels clearly state that the events have a far more significant meaning that even the twelve appear not to understand, and is never explained by christ, i am of the view that these two events and those which are associated with them must hold a much higher significance than any christrain religion has ever given them, due to their lack of understanding also.. has anyone ever looked at these events more closely?
has anyone on this ever come up with an explaination with to regard to the no of loafs, no of fish, and the no of baskets of fragments, and also their timing in the year and week when they occured?.

How does the latest translation of Kings 24:12 in the Common English Bible change our views on the date of Jerusalem's destruction?
by Bart Belteshassur inthe last clause of verse 12, kings 24 has always appeared to me to be somewhat ambiguous,.
"and the king of babylon got to take him (jehoiachin) in the eighth year of his being king.
" this has lead to the genneral connection of nebuchadnezzar's eighth year to the start of zedekiah's rule and thus to the equating of nebuchadnezzar's nineteenth year with zedekiah's eleventh.. the ceb reads, " the babylonian king took jehoiachin prisoner in the eighth year of jehoiachin's rule.".
